On the heels of the Star Wars: Episode VII casting announcement, Lucasfilm has debuted a trailer for a new app they're calling "Star Wars Journeys." Variety reports that they will be rolling out versions of this app for each film in the franchise, leading up to J.J. Abrams' Star Wars: Episode VII in December of 2015. The first installment though is for Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace and is available now for iOS platforms.

Here's what Lucasfilm had to say about the functionality of the app: "Readers tap and swipe their way through the story of Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace, with a 180-degree parallax viewing experience, infinite zoom scene transitions, collectible character profiles, brand new art, and unlockable hidden content."
