The Evil Within PAX East Gameplay Trailer

Bethesda has released the new PAX East gameplay trailer for The Evil Within, the new survival horror game from Tango Gameworks (led by Resident Evil's Shinji Mikami) which will be released on Tuesday, August 26th in North America and three days later (August 29th) in Europe.

The trailer shows never-before-seen gameplay and gives a first look at fighting one of the game's most terrifying villains, Boxman. Detective Sebastien Castellanos and his partners are called in to investigate a gruesome mass murder. After witnessing a mysterious force slaughter his fellow officers, Sebastian is ambushed and knocked unconscious. When the video opens, he finds his world has been turned upside down. Fighting for survival in a world where hideous creatures wander among the dead, Sebastian embarks on a frightening journey to unravel who or what is behind this unimaginable evil.
