The roster for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes will include well over 100 of our favorite comic book characters and every week we're learning about more that will be included in the game. This latest poster for the game (via Game Informer) shows off some of the villains from the game including Bullseye, Magneto, Venom, Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, Kingpin, Mystique, Doctor Doom, Loki, Abomination and MODOK!

Lest you think that the "Mobile Organism Designed Only for Killing" is just for show, he'll be kind of integral to the game's story, or so says the game's director Arthur Parsons:

"Doctor Doom is scouring the planet looking for the cosmic Lego bricks from the Silver Surfer's board and enlists the help of A.I.M., who supply him with a purpose-built ship, the Doom Tanker. This navigates the seas looking for bricks and is crewed by A.I.M. Goons under the jurisdiction of MODOK. So as the player is tracking the cosmic Lego bricks when they least expect it MODOK turns up to rain on their parade. As sinister as ever, MODOK assaults the player and tries to slow them down allowing Doctor Doom to escape in the S.H.I.E.L.D. Research Submarine."

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes features an original story crossing the entire Marvel Universe. Players take control of Iron Man, Spider-Man, the Hulk, Captain America, Wolverine and many more Marvel characters as they unite to stop Loki and a host of other Marvel villains from assembling a super-weapon capable of destroying the world. Players will chase down Cosmic Bricks as they travel across LEGO Manhattan and visit key locations from the Marvel Universe, such as Stark Tower, Asteroid M, a Hydra base, and the X-Mansion.

The game will be available October 22 for  Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U, Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation Vita, and for the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 at a later date.
