After the game's initial publisher, THQ, closed down in 2012, there was some fear that South Park: The Stick of Truth
might not see the light of day. Fortunately, Ubisoft took the reins and, in addition to releasing the new trailer that you can check out in the player below, they've announced that the game will hit store shelves on December 10. Set for release on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC, "The Stick of Truth" is officially described as follows:
From the perilous battlefields of the fourth-grade playground, a young hero will rise, destined to be South Park's savior. From the creators of South Park, Trey Parker and Matt Stone, comes an epic quest to become cool.
The game will also be available in a "Grand Wizard Edition," which will include, in addition to the game, a Grand Wizard Cartman 6" Kidrobot Figure, a Kingdom of South Park Map and "The Stick of Truth" Ultimate Fellowship Pack.
