The initial announcement of LEGO Marvel Super Heroes came with the promise of over 100 characters on the game's roster. Up until now, the usual suspects of the Marvel U have been the only confirmed playable characters. Now a new trailer for the game has been released that profiles not only the "Big Figure" characters (like The Hulk) but reveals plenty of other Marvel characters that will be present in the game.

Furthermore, the Marvel video game at San Diego Comic-Con confirmed even more playable characters, including Dr. Doom, Electra, Agent Coulson, Magneto, Silver Samurai, The Punisher, Beast, Green Goblin, Juggernaut and Squirrel Girl. It was also announced that gamers who pre-order LEGO Marvel Super Heroes will get Iron Patriot playable in the game.

Since that isn't enough though, the panel also revealed that Stan Lee himself will make an appearance!

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes offers an original storyline in which Nick Fury calls upon Iron Man, the Hulk, Thor, Spider-Man, Wolverine and other heroes spanning the Marvel Universe to save Earth from such threats as the vengeance of Loki and the hunger of Galactus, Devourer of the Worlds.

The game will be available for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Wii U, PC, Nintendo DS, 3DS, and Playstation Vita later this year. You can read our E3 reactions to the game by clicking here.
