Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows Gets a Release Date

Turtle fans rejoice! The latest Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game, Out of the Shadows, finally has a release date (via Major Nelson). Costing fans 1200 Microsoft points or $14.99 on other platforms, the game will be released on August 28th. You can see new footage from the game in Microsoft's "Summer of Arcade" trailer below.

Described as having a "hyper-realistic 3D-style," "true-to-life" environments and a combo-driven battle system, Out of the Shadows will feature up to four player co-op with each of the turtles being playable. The game is being developed by Red Fly Studio, which created Thor: God of Thunder and the Wii-ports of Ghostbusters the Video Game and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows will be available for download for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
