DC Entertainment has debuted a new video on Warner Bros. Games Montreal's upcoming story DLC for their most recent game, Batman: Arkham Origins, which answers a few fan questions about the DLC and also shows off some new footage. Titled "Cold, Cold Heart," the DLC will see Batman's first run in with Mr. Freeze in the "Arkham" universe in addition to expanding the map to some new areas. Check out the video below!

Bethesda has released the new PAX East gameplay trailer for The Evil Within, the new survival horror game from Tango Gameworks (led by Resident Evil's Shinji Mikami) which will be released on Tuesday, August 26th in North America and three days later (August 29th) in Europe.

2K and Gearbox Software announced today that Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, which is set in-between Borderlands and Borderlands 2, is currently in co-development by Gearbox Software and 2K Australia. Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel will be available worldwide in fall 2014 on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.

A new Nintendo Direct video revealed details about the upcoming Super Smash Bros. video games for the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. At the start of the video, series creator Masahiro Sakurai announced that the launch of the Nintendo 3DS version of the game is planned for this summer, with the Wii U version planned for winter 2014. Both games will be available in stores and in the Nintendo eShop for their respective platforms. Sakurai also detailed many of the stages and items in both versions, described the games' online functionality, revealed a new mode exclusive to the Nintendo 3DS version and announced fan-favorite Greninja, a Pokémon from the Pokémon X and Pokémon Y games, as a new playable character.

To mark the release of LEGO The Hobbit, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and TT Games have released a new trailer for the game which you can check out in the player below. In addition, Warner Bros. has confirmed that though the game only covers the events of the first two films in "The Hobbit Trilogy" additional content will be released in the future that covers the events of the third film, The Hobbit: There and Back Again.

Previously Beenox revealed that Kraven the Hunter would be one of the many characters from the Spider-Man canon that would appear in their upcoming The Amazing Spider-Man 2 game, but a new trailer has revealed several more, some of whom we'll see in the new film and some not. Featuring the likes of Electro, The Green Goblin, Black Cat and Kingpin, you can check out the trailer in the player below!

Visceral Games Vice President and General Manager Steve Papoutsis took to their official site today to announce that former Naughty Dog employee Amy Hennig, known most famously as the writer and creative director of the "Uncharted" franchise, has been appointed the creative director and Visceral Games and EA's upcoming, unannounced Star Wars project.

Nintendo today revealed new information about Mario Kart 8, the latest installment in the fan-favorite racing series launching exclusively for the Wii U console on May 30 in stores and in the Nintendo eShop. For the first time in HD, Mario Kart 8 introduces original track designs that highlight the game's new anti-gravity feature, which allows players to race upside down or up vertical surfaces. Racers will also enjoy a variety of series-favorite features, including the return of 12-player online competitive play, four-player local multiplayer, hang gliders, underwater racing and motorbikes.

A mysterious new Halo adaptation is in the works today as The Wrap reports that 343 Industries, Xbox Entertainment Studios and Scott Free Productions are moving forward with a "digital feature project" based on the hit video game property. TV director Sergio Mimica-Gezzan is attached to helm with "Prison Break" creator Paul Scheuring providing the script.
