inFAMOUS: Second Son isn't an exact sequel to the previous games but more of another chapter set in the same world. The story takes place years after the first two games and its story is influenced by the events of these games. The biggest influence comes in the form of the “Department of Unified Protection,” which has been established to make sure that nothing else happens like what transpired in the first game. In case you can't tell, they're going to cause a lot of problems for you during the game.

Among Nintendo's many announcements at E3 came the reveal of Super Mario 3D World. Functioning as a pseudo-sequel to the Nintendo 3DS game Super Mario 3D Land, this Wii U exclusive takes the gameplay of that game and mixes it with some unexpected play styles that make it feel less like a Mario game than players might think.

The initial announcement of Ubisoft's newest property, Watch_Dogs, captured the attention of a lot of eager gamers. Set inside a realistic build of Chicago, players will be given the ability to tap into and hack all kinds of elements within the city. To further cement the game's uniqueness from other sandbox titles, it has no missions and no objectives, you can do whatever you wish.

"Call of Duty" is an unstoppable force in the gaming world now. They've released a new game annually for years now and it doesn't look like that will change. The latest entry in the franchise, subtitled “Ghosts,” will be released this November and it's trying to take the combat for the game into new territory.

Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate has been largely absent from conversations stemming out of E3 and in order to share the love, WB has released some new images from the upcoming handheld game. Check them out below!

Out of the recent comic book heroes to make a splash in the world, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles may have been re-invented the most. After countless cartoons, games, shows, movies, and comic books, there's almost no stone left unturned for these characters. They're currently enjoying a new life as a 3D animated series on Nickelodeon which is where the latest video game “Out of the Shadows” comes in.

The initial announcement of Assassin's Creed 4 left many fans cold. A sequel so soon after the previous game certainly carries the air of the "Call of Duty" franchise with it, and in addition the game is moving backwards from the time period of its predecessor. “Black Flag” will likely go on to be known as “The Pirate one” as this time around the lead character sails the high seas, looting and fighting other ships.

Deadpool is one of the few comic book characters that has a serious cult following. The Merc with a Mouth is most well known and beloved by fans for his consistent breaking of the fourth wall, schizophrenic tendencies, and ultra violence. Activision and High Moon Studios have teamed up to bring the character to life and let gamers control the former X-Force member in his own video game.

TT Games have really cornered the market on fun and expansive titles with their hit LEGO series. Last year, they released fan favorite LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes and this year they'll release the one many have been waiting for, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes.

Since the announcement of Batman: Arkham Origins, fans have been worried. “Arkham Asylum” and “City” developers Rocksteady aren't involved with the project, famed writer Paul Dini didn't pen the script, and Kevin Conroy won't be voicing the titular character. These reasons call for plenty of concern for fans of the previous games as these three elements, among others, were what made the first two games so great. Well, good news everyone, after having seen a demo of the game in action at E3, we can tell you this: You have nothing to worry about.
