The Movie:
I used to watch Unsolved Mysteries all the time when it was on TV. I loved the mystery and intrigue behind these true stories. However, I particularly loved the episodes on ghosts, UFO's, monsters, and such. I used to get books on ghosts all the time as a kid. Now, as an adult, I still find myself drawn to ghost stories. Needless to say, this DVD was right up my alley.

As you probably know, the show recreated mysterious events with actors and supplemented it with interviews with the real life witnesses. On the disc that I watched, there was an intriguing story about a ghost that helped solve her own murder. In another segment there's a scary story about a ghost in a Texas hunting lodge. Then there's the story of a haunting in the UK which inspired a landmark lawsuit against the previous house owners for not disclosing the haunting. The other DVDs feature legendary ghost stories like the ghost ship Marie Celeste, Lizzie Borden's house, the Queen Mary hauntings, and more.

The Extras:
I'd love to tell you about the special features, but the screener DVD they sent me didn't include them. You're on your own there!

The Bottom Line:
If you love ghost stories or you enjoyed Unsolved Mysteries when it was on TV, then this is a DVD you'll definitely want to check out.
