Already set to reprise her Marvel's The Avengers role of Agent Maria Hill in the soon-to-shoot Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Cobie Smulders tells IAmRogue that she's in talks to join the cast of the upcoming television project "Marvel's S.H.I.E.L.D.," should the pilot go to series.

"The commitments to ['How I Met Your Mother'] donít affect it," Smulders told the site. "and I canít really say but there are definite talks about itÖ I will do Maria Hill until they fire me and hire someone else to do it."

Smulders, who also stars regularly on "How I Met Your Mother," can next be seen in the Nicholas Sparks adaptation Safe Haven, opening February 14.
