Mathieu Amalric Joins Roman Polanski's Venus in Fur

The Diving Bell and the Butterfly and Quantum of Solace star Mathieu Amalric has joined Roman Polanski's Venus in Fur, reports Deadline.

Amalric will star opposite Polanski’s wife, Emmanuelle Seigner, who he worked with on The Diving Bell and the Butterfly.

The film is an adaptation of David Ives's play "Venus in Fur," a Broadway and off-Broadway success that received a Tony nomination for Best Play and garnered a Tony for Nina Arianda as Best Actress.
