Debuting directly on Blu-ray, DVD and On Demand next week, Death Race 3: Inferno is set in the universe of Paul W.S. Anderson's Death Race, itself inspired by Roger Corman's cult classic Death Race 2000. Starring Luke Goss, Danny Trejo, Tanit Phoenix, Fred Koehler, Robin Shou with Ving Rhames and Dougray Scott, the sequel is directed by Roel Reiné (Death Race 2).

Inferno finds Carl "Frankenstein" Lucas (Goss) with just one race left to go before he earns his freedom. He soon learns, however, that the first-ever desert course will take him straight through South Africa’s Kalahari Desert and will pit him against some of the deadliest racers he's ever faced.

ComingSoon.net sat down with Trejo, who reprises his role of Goldberg from Death Race 2. In addition to sharing his thoughts on the franchise, Trejo reveals who he thinks would survive if all of the characters he's played wound up battling it out in a Death Race scenario.

Check out the interview in the player below and catch Death Race 3: Inferno on shelves or digitally January 22.
