Update: Breaking Bad to Return on July 14

“Breaking Bad” is set to return this on AMC summer and star Aaron Paul confirmed via Twitter that new episodes will begin on July 14. The second half of the show's fifth season will return with eight additional episodes and will bring the series to a close.

Created and produced by Vince Gilligan, "Breaking Bad" stars Bryan Cranston as Walter White, a high school chemistry teacher in Albuquerque, New Mexico who, after learning that he's dying of lung cancer, begins to secretly cook crystal meth as a means of providing for his family.

UPDATE: Aaron Paul removed the original tweet and posted the following:

"Breaking Bad fans I was premature in telling you the release date. Sorry. It come out sometime before the end of the summer. Love you."
