Twentieth Century Fox has picked up Arminius, a Roman-era epic by newcomer Frank Moll, Deadline reports.

Arminius focuses on the historical Germanic chieftain that battled against Roman invaders in the early years of the first century.

Moll's screenplay is likened to Mel Gibson's 1995 historical epic Braveheart and will be produced by LBI Entertainment, Rain Management and Radiant Productions.
