December 5, 2012

On the heels of yesterday's report on DreamWorks Animation's 2013 slate comes a second trailer for the first of the studio's trio of original animated films, The Croods. Check it out in the player below, courtesy of iTunes Movie Trailers.

Featuring the voices of Nicolas Cage, Ryan Reynolds, Emma Stone, Catherine Keener, Clark Duke and Cloris Leachman, the March 22, 2013 release is described as follows:

When their cave is destroyed, the Crood family is forced to embark on an epic adventure into a pre-historic world in search of a new home. With the help of a brash, know-it-all nomad named Guy, the Croods learn to conquer their fears and discover what it takes to survive each other.

The film is written and directed by Academy-Award nominee Chris Sanders (How to Train Your Dragon) and Kirk DeMicco (Space Chimps).
