Sean Bean Replaces Brendan Fraser in TNT's Legends

Sean Bean ("Game of Thrones," "Missing") will star in TNT's pilot "Legends," reports Variety.

The Lord of the Rings actor is replacing Brendan Fraser, who exited the project a month ago due to creative differences with showrunner Howard Gordon.

Based on the novel by Robert Littell, the project follows undercover operative Martin Odum, who has a chameleon-like ability to turn himself into a different person for each assignment.

Bean will next appear on the big screen again as Zeus in Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters.
