Seth MacFarlane Finds A Million Ways to Die in the West

December 3, 2012

Reuniting with Ted screenwriters Alex Sulkin and Wellesley Wild, Seth MacFarlane has plans to make his sophomore feature film a Western comedy called A Million Ways to Die in the West. The Hollywood Reporter has the news, saying that the "Family Guy" creator also intends to star.

Plot details are few, but the project is likened to Mel Brooks' Blazing Saddles.

As rumored earlier this year, a sequel to Ted is in the works at Universal Pictures with the original having grossed more than $400 million at the worldwide box office.

As with that project, Media Right Capital is providing funding and Scott Stuber is producing.
