The Trailer for Doctor Who's Christmas Special The Snowmen

The BBC has released a trailer for the upcoming Doctor Who Christmas special. You can check it out in the player below along with an introduction by Matt Smith and Jenna Louise Coleman.

Titled "The Snowmen," the episode will air on Christmas Day and will feature the first appearance of Coleman's Clara, the Doctor's new companion. Of course, Coleman already appeared as a seemingly different character in the season's premiere, "Asylum of the Daleks" and she and Smith seem to be having some fun with teasing the mystery in their intro.

Written by lead writer and executive producer Steven Moffat ("Sherlock"), "The Snowmen" sees the Doctor once again crossing paths with the homo-reptilian Silurian Madame Vastra (Neve McIntosh) and her cohort Jenny (Catrin Stewart).
