Chronicle screenwriter Max Landis is making a move to directing with an indie feature titled Me Him Her, Variety reports. Said to focus on sexual identity, the film follows a group of 20-somethings in Los Angeles.

Landis, the son of filmmaker John Landis, has a number of writing projects currently in development including a Chronicle sequel, a Frankenstein film, a Pied Piper project and an untitled space adventure at Disney.

Peter Saraf and Marc Turtletaub are attached to produce the project with Big Beach Films fully financing the venture and production slated to begin as early as next year.
