Saoirse Ronan has taken the female lead in Wes Anderson's next, The Grand Budapest Hotel, Variety reports. She joins a cast that currently includes Ralph Fiennes, Jude Law, Bill Murray and Jason Schwartzman.
Details of the plot are currently few, but the film is believed to be an Ernst Lubitsch-inspired comedy set in a Hungarian hotel in the late 1920's.
Ronan, best known for her Academy Award nominated role in Joe Wright's Atonement, later reteamed with Wright for Hanna. She's set to soon appear in Neil Jordan's vampire thriller Byzantium as well as in Andrew Niccol's feature adaptation of the Stephenie Meyer horror/sci-fi tale The Host.
