Walt Disney Pictures and ImageMovers are planning a sci-fi tale titled The Magic Catalogue, Variety reports. Ice Age: Continental Drift screenwriter Jason Fuchs will provide the initial draft, based on an idea by Chris Appelhan.

The film follows a young boy who, by accident, comes into the possession of a number of sci-fi weapons.

Robert Zemeckis, whose latest film as a director, Flight, hits theaters on November 2, will produce the movie with partners Jack Rapke and Steve Starkey.
