The Possession Reveals a New Still and Official Site

Lionsgate has released a new still from its late-summer horror offering, The Possession, starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Kyra Sedgwick, Madison Davenport and Natasha Calis. What's more, they've launched the film's official site at ThePossessionmovie.com, which includes a look at the "true story" behind the film.
Ole Bornedal directed the supernatural thriller which takes its inspiration from a Los Angeles Times article called "Jinx in a Box" (you can read it on the site). Juliet Snowden and Stiles White (the duo behind Boogeyman and Knowing) penned the script.
The film centers around a cursed relic containing mysterious familial tokens that is mistakenly purchased and its new owner must solve its mystery to save her own family.
The Possession hits theaters on August 31st.
