Variety reports that I Am Legend 2 writer Arash Amel will do a page-one rewrite of Methuselah for Warner Bros. Pictures.

James Watkins (The Woman in Black) is attached to direct the action adventure, which David Heyman (the "Harry Potter" films) will produce through his Heyday Films.

The trade adds that film will "follow a 1,000-year-old man who has used his time on the planet to develop an unparalleled set of survival skills."

Amel will write Methuselah once he turns in I Am Legend 2, which Akiva Goldsman is producing with Will Smith and James Lassiter's Overbrook Entertainment.
