Tim Burton Previews Frankenweenie

May 9, 2012

ComingSoon.net's ShockTillYouDrop.com recently got a chance to meet up with director Tim Burton, who screened the first 26 minutes from his upcoming Frankenweenie and talked about the film, opening in 3D, 2D and IMAX 3D theaters on October 5. You can check out the footage description and interview by clicking here!

The stop-motion animated film is a heartwarming tale about a boy and his dog. After unexpectedly losing his beloved dog Sparky, young Victor harnesses the power of science to bring his best friend back to life—with just a few minor adjustments. He tries to hide his home-sewn creation, but when Sparky gets out, Victor's fellow students, teachers and the entire town all learn that getting a new "leash on life" can be monstrous.

Frankenweenie is voiced by Winona Ryder, Martin Short, Catherine O'Hara, Martin Landau, Charlie Tahan, Atticus Shaffer, Robert Capron and Conchata Ferrell.
