Though the new trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man is now online (check it out here), the way it's meant to be seen is in 3D on the big screen. That's why, to celebrate the launch, Sony Pictures invited a small group of journalists to watch the trailer in all its 3D glory and to speak with director Marc Webb about his hopes for the summer blockbuster. We're happy to report that, if the new footage is any indication, Webb has crafted a film that makes every use of stereoscopic technology and that The Amazing Spider-Man is definitely a film you'll want to catch in 3D.
