David Goyer Talks Ghost Rider 2

Source:  MTV

MTV talked to David Goyer about what we can expect for Ghost Rider 2, which he says is "not exactly a reboot," picks up eight years after the first film, and is targeting a 2010 shoot.

"I hate to say it's more realistic, because he's got a flaming skull for a head, but it's a bit more stripped down and darker," Goyer added. "It's definitely changing tone. What 'Casino Royale' was to the Bond movies, hopefully this will be to 'Ghost Rider.'"

Hopefully this time Ghost Rider won't destroy the villains in two seconds.

While I'm not a fan of the Ghost Rider comics (haven't read them), I thoughtfirst film was mediocre at best. Goyers comments have me hopeful that the sequel will be good, but I've gotta wonder about setting it eight years later. It'll be interesting to see what story he's got cooking for this.

Movies like Conan, Blade and Ghost Rider have no business being anything but rated R. Please do this character justice this time around.

Do you guys remember that line form the first movie?: I am Legion.....for we are manyyyyyy!!!

It was so cheezy and ridiculous, yet so funny. I hope the sequel is much better, 'cause the first one was just embarassing to watch.

I saw the first movie in theaters and was under an influence and talked myself into it being kinda decent. Then i watched it on tv recently and realized how very bad it was. Wont see this one in theaters but will get a laugh when it comes to cable in 2013

ace, that legion comment was from the bible where a man was possessed by many demons who said that line "We are Legion, for we are many."
