Mortal Kombat: Legacy's Kevin Tancharoen Takes The Guns of Christmas Past

Mortal Kombat: Legacy helmer Kevin Tancharoen has lined up a new feature film with The Guns of Christmas Past, a contemporary take on the Charles Dickens classic "A Christmas Carol." Deadline reports that Tancharoen will direct for Voltage Pictures.

Scripted by Andrew Hilton and set in Chicago, The Guns of Christmas Past follows a retired hitman who, through the process of seeking revenge on Christmas Eve, comes face to face with adversaries from his own past, present and future.

Nicolas Chartier and Zev Foreman are attached to produce with Babacar Diene set to oversee for Voltage.
