Next week, Relativity Media invites families everywhere to meet the alien star of their "found footage" family adventure, Earth to Echo. Equal parts E.T., The Goonies and Cloverfield, the film follows a trio of kids who, documenting their final night together before they all move away, find a mysterious object that soon reveals itself as a flying robot named Echo. Teaming with a girl from their school, the group has to find a way to work together to recover all the pieces Echo needs to build a spaceship and get back home!

Because Earth to Echo is targeting family audiences, Relativity asked us if we knew of any children that might want to interview the stars. In the player below, we're very pleased to introduce six-year-old reporter Finnegan Forsyth in his very first assignment! You can watch as he sits down with stars Teo Halm, Ella Wahlestedt, Brian "Astro" Bradley and Reese Hartwig.

Earth to Echo hits theaters July 2.
