Exclusive Lobby Card for From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series

February 13, 2014

From Dusk Till Dawn--the 1996 film directed by Robert Rodriguez and written by Quentin Tarantino--is getting reimagined for television. Rodriguez has been at work on a television series for the El Rey Network that, he says, will expand the universe with many of the characters we saw in the original film. In anticipation of the show's March 11th debut, ShockTillYouDrop.com has an exclusive lobby card featuring co-star Wilmer Valderama, who plays one of the baddies. Check it out here.

If you're heading down to SXSW in Austin, Texas next month, "From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series" will have its premiere Saturday, March 8 at 4:30PM at the Vimeo Theater. Robert Rodriguez and many of the cast will be in attendance. Stay tuned for coverage from that.

The 10-episode serialized drama is centered around bank robber, Seth Gecko and his violent, unpredictable brother, Richard "Richie" Gecko, who are wanted by the FBI and Texas Rangers Earl McGraw and Freddie Gonzalez after a bank heist left several people dead. While on the run to Mexico, Seth and Richie encounter former pastor Jacob Fuller and his family, whom they take hostage. Using the family RV to cross the border, chaos ensues when the group detours to a strip club that is populated by vampires. They are forced to fight until dawn in order to get out alive.
