Justin Lin to Produce Toymageddon at 20th Century Fox

January 27, 2014

"Fast and Furious" director Justin Lin is set to produce Toymageddon at 20th Century Fox along with Anonymous Content's Michael Sugar, Bard Dorros and Tariq Merhab, and Troy Craig Poon of Perfect Storm Entertainment, says The Hollywood Reporter.

According to the trade, the film will be "a four quadrant, live-action family adventure movie in the vein of Jurassic Park and Ghostbusters. The lid on the plot details is being kept tightly shut but it is known to center around a toy factory that runs amok."

A writer will be hired soon. The project is in early development and could turn into a Lin-directing vehicle. Lin also is looking to direct the next Bourne movie and just picked up the narrative rights to Sundance documentary, The Battered Bastards of Baseball.
