Comedies are still king and few are more familiar with that than Aussie comedienne Rebel Wilson, who appeared in Paul Feig's Bridesmaids and went on to appear in the hit Pitch Perfect, before getting her own ABC show "Super Fun Night." Now she's being tapped to star opposite Amanda Seyfried in He's F--ing Perfect for Universal Pictures, a comedy co-produced by Anchorman's Will Ferrell and Adam McKay.

Directed by Jake Szymanski ("Saturday Night Live," "Funny or Die Presents") from a script by Adam McKay's assistant Lauryn Kahn, Seyfried plays a girl down on love who uses her friend's social media to vet their dates and her skills to try to turn herself into the perfect match for the good guys she finds. Wilson plays her carefree roommate and best friend who tries to talk her out of this routine because it isn't healthy.

Wilson also just signed onto a role in 20th Century Fox's upcoming sequel Night at the Museum 3.

Universal apparently bought the project out of turnaround from Fox 2000 which originally picked it up in a seven-figure spec deal back in October 2011. Ferrell and McKay are producing the movie through their Gary Sanchez Productions, along with Kevin Messick, Nathan Kahane and Joe Drake the latter two for Good Universe.
