We're the Millers' Rawson Marshall Thurber to Direct Central Intelligence

December 21, 2013

We're the Millers helmer Rawson Marshall Thurber has signed on to direct New Line's Central Intelligence, a spy comedy that has Ed Helms attached to star and executive produce, says The Hollywood Reporter. The trade says that Thurber will also rewrite the script.

Dean Parisot was originally attached to direct the project when it was still at Universal Pictures and written as a spec by Ike Barinholtz and Dave Stassen. Sean Anders and John Morris as well as Peter Steinfeld have now also worked on the script.

Central Intelligence revolves around an accountant who's thrown into the world of international espionage after reconnecting with an old friend through Facebook.

Scott Stuber, Peter Principato and Paul Young will produce.
