Deadline reports that companies and brands across the world have begun buying up ad space during the upcoming Super Bowl XLVIII. The event will take place on February 2nd this year and the site reports that, in addition to the first spot for Transformers: Age of Extinction, Sony will debut a new spot for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 during the game.

Disney has also reportedly bought a spot for a thirty second ad, but hasn't decided what to promote in their slot. The site mentions that Warner Bros. chose not to buy a spot this year and that Lionsgate bought an unspecified spot during the pre-game show instead of the game itself.
