Barry Allen Debut Gives Arrow Its Highest Ratings of the Season!

Last night saw the debut of Grant Gustin as Barry Allen (in his pre-Flash days) on The CW's hit series "Arrow," and he brought along some friends. The official numbers are in and last night's episode had a grand total of 3.165 million viewers, making it the highest-rated episode of "Arrow's" second season. These numbers are also a 22% increase from the show's previous episode, which had 2.66 million viewers.

"The Scientist" was just the first part in a two-part mid-season finale event, check out the preview for next week's episode by clicking here, but the additional viewers will likely help shepherd the proposed "Flash" spin-off as The CW is still putting the standalone pilot together.
