Keanu Reeves' Passengers Gets 2015 Release Date

Keanu Reeves has been developing his sci-fi romantic drama Passengers for many years and it's finally paying off as the movie is going to get made with Rachel McAdams co-starring and with Brian Kirk ("Game of Thrones") making his feature film directorial debut.

The Weinstein Company picked up the distribution rights to the film before a frame was shot and now they've selected a date for its Dimension Films branch to release the movie, going with April 3, 2015.

Although 2015 is already getting incredibly crowded with big tentpole movies, oddly no movie has grabbed any dates in April as of yet, although Guillermo del Toro's ghost movie Crimson Peak is rumored to open that month (despite also having not started production yet).
