Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher Are... The Wonder Twins?

Source:   Midtown Comics
November 14, 2013

New York readers are no doubt familiar with Midtown Comics, one of the Big Apple's biggest comic book store chains. Today, they're the recipient of a mighty peculiar poster that they claim arrived from Warner Bros. with no additional information included. As you can see below, the art teases a Wonder Twins project with Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher attached to play the "Superfriends" characters.

Jayna and Zan made their first appearance in 1977's "The All-New Super Friends Hour" as super-powered siblings. By touching one another and saying, "Wonder Twins powers activate!" Jayna has the ability to turn into any animal while Zan can physically become any form of water.

Of course, the odds are very, very against a surprise Wonder Twins film hitting theaters in 2014 and the poster is most likely some kind of viral tie-in or a prank on the part of Midtown Comics. The store seems intent on disproving the latter and have updated their feed with an image of the mailing tube the poster arrived it. It certainly appears to have been mailed from the Warner Bros. lot in Burbank, California.

If this poster was, indeed, created by Warner Bros., one possibility is that it's a tease for Doug Ellin's Entourage feature, which is expected to begin production shortly and could hit theaters as early as 2014. The show previously featured a faux Aquaman feature directed by James Cameron, so a Wonder Twins followup would certainly fit.

Check back for details as soon as they become available and share your own theories about this mysterious mailing below!
