With production slated to begin early next year, Doug Ellin's Entourage feature is finally becoming a reality. Now, TheWrap reports that actress/model Kate Upton is being eyed to play the film's female lead, a love interest for Adrian Grenier's Vincent Chase.

The film is said to pick up the action six months after the end of the HBO series. As a series, "Entourage" ran for eight seasons on HBO between 2004 and 2011. Grenier will reprise his role alongside series stars Kevin Connolly, Kevin Dillon, Jerry Ferrara and Jeremy Piven.

Although her involvement is far from a sure thing at this stage, Upton has been steadily building a list of big screen credits. She's already appeared in both Brett Ratner's Tower Heist and Bobby and Peter Farrelly's The Three Stooges with an upcoming role lined up in Nick Cassavetes's The Other Woman.
