This morning, actress Saoirse Ronan confirmed that she has gone in for an audition for the upcoming Star Wars: Episode VII but also made the off-hand comment "so has everyone." Following that, Latino Review is reporting that 300: Rise of an Empire star Sullivan Stapleton has also gone in for an audition for the film. No word on what role he could be playing, but they say that Stapleton has already gotten in trouble for mentioning to people that he auditioned for the film. Hopefully we don't get him in more trouble.

What do you think of Stapleton in the film? Sound off below!

Set to feature a script by Michael Arndt, Star Wars: Episode VII is rumored to focus on a new generation of heroes and could feature appearances by Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford in older incarnations of their beloved characters from the original Star Wars trilogy.
