Production on the film already underway, New Line Cinema has officially set Horrible Bosses 2 for a release on November 26, 2014.

Sean Anders (Sex Drive, That's My Boy) is taking the director's chair for the comedy sequel, which will feature the return of Jason Bateman, Charlie Day and Jason Sudeikis as Nick Hendricks, Dale Arbus and Kurt Buckman, respectively. Jamie Foxx is also reprising his role as hitman Motherf--er Jones.

John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, who wrote the 2011 original, also drafted the sequel. The original film followed a group of friends who decide to kill off each other's bosses (played by Jennifer Aniston, Colin Farrell and Kevin Spacey).

The new release date has Horrible Bosses 2 opening five days after The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1, which is also aiming to take box office advantage of the holiday weekend.
