Michael Bay's Platinum Dunes Plans Raindrop

September 4, 2013

Michael Bay's Platinum Dunes is set to re-team with screenwriters Jason Pagan and Andrew Stark. The Hollywood Reporter brings word that the pair are set for a "found footage" sci-fi thriller titled Raindrop.

Details on Raindrop are few, but the style is said to be similar in tone to the upcoming Almanac, also scripted by Pagan and Stark. That film, said to involve a time travel element, is scheduled to hit theaters on February 10, 2014.

Bay will produce Raindrop with Paramount Pictures set to distribute.
