Less than a day after word broke that Jane Eyre and Sin Nombre helmer Cary Fukunaga had signed on to direct Beasts of No Nation with Idris Elba in the lead, comes word, via Deadline, that Fukunaga will also tackle DreamWorks' Noble Assassin, based on an upcoming book by Paul Kix.

Noble Assassin aims to tell the true story of the recently-deceased Robert de la Rochefoucauld, who served as an expertly-trained member of the French Resistance during World War II.

Fukunaga will also produce the adaptation alongside Anonymous Content.
