With two of their major titles, Assassin's Creed and Splinter Cell, already headed to the big screen, Ubisoft is making plans to turn an additional three of their video game titles into big screen releases. Variety reports that Far Cry, Rabbids and Watch Dogs are all currently in development.

First released in 2004, Far Cry follows the adventures of Jack Carver, a U.S. Army Special Forces operative in search of a missing journalist on a group of islands inhabited by the monstrous creations of Krieger, a mad scientist.

Rabbids, which is also in development as an Xbox One series, began as the 2006 game "Rayman Raving Rabbids," itself a spinoff of the popular "Rayman" series. The Rabbids characters themselves are large, crazy bunnies with a penchant for mischief.

Watch Dogs, meanwhile, will have its first game released this November. The storyline is officially described as follows:

Set in Chicago, where a central network of computers connects everyone and everything, Watch_Dogs explores the impact of technology within our society. Using the city as your weapon, you will embark on a personal mission to inflict your own brand of justice.

Chicago's overarching network is known as the Central Operating System (ctOS), and it controls almost all of the city's technology and information - including key data on all of the city's residents.

You play as Aiden Pearce, a brilliant hacker and former thug, whose criminal past led to a violent family tragedy. While seeking justice for those events, you'll monitor and hack those around you by manipulating the ctOS from the palm of your hand. You'll access omnipresent security cameras, download personal information to locate a target, control traffic lights and public transportation to stop the enemy... and more.

Check back for details on all three properties as they become available.
