Latest Amazing Spider-Man 2 Set Photo Teases Destruction

Director Marc Webb continues his tradition of posting set photos from the upcoming The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and the latest image should raise some eyebrows. Webb captioned the image with this: "Day 77. Never go full hobo.  Writer Alex Kurtzman, Rocky and me making use of an Oscorp crater fire." The substantial destruction seen in the image brings up the question: Who caused it? With Electro and Rhino set to appear in the film we're given two possibilities, but could it in fact be Chris Cooper's Norman Osborn as The Green Goblin? Who do you think set the fire?

In the 2014 sequel, Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) finds life is busy between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can't come quickly enough. Peter hasn't forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen's father to protect her by staying away but that's a promise he just can't keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.

Also starring Shailene Woodley, Colm Feore, Sally Field and Chris Cooper, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 hits theaters on May 2, 2014.
