NBC has renewed "Community" for a fifth season, making it and "Parks and Recreation" the only returning comedies on the network's 2013 - 2014 schedule. "Community" wrapped its fourth season on Thursday.

In pilot news, CBS has decided not to pick up the "Beverly Hills Cop" series, starring Brandon T. Jackson and produced by Shawn Ryan ("The Shield"). Sony and Paramount are said to be shopping the project to other networks.
