Colin Firth is in talks to play the male lead in Woody Allen's untitled next project, Deadline reports. The news comes less than a week after the news that Emma Stone has signed on to play the female lead.

Plot details are still unavailable, but the outlet reports that the film will be shot in the South of France.

Allen's latest, Blue Jasmine, stars Alec Baldwin, Cate Blanchett, Bobby Cannavale, Louis C.K., Andrew Dice Clay, Sally Hawkins, Peter Sarsgaard and Michael Stuhlbarg and is set to hit theaters in New York and Los Angeles on July 26.

Firth, whose Arthur Newman is now playing in a limited release, is also said to be in talks to headline Matthew Vaughn's The Secret Service.
