First Look at Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters

The very first images for Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters are now online and you can check them out below, courtesy of USA Today! What's more, the first trailer is expected to hit theaters next week before showings of The Host.

Directed by Thor Freudenthal with a script by Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski, the much-anticipated sequel stars Logan Lerman, Brandon T. Jackson, Alexandra Daddario, Douglas Smith, Mary Birdsong, Yvette Nicole Brown, Missi Pyle, Nathan Fillion, Anthony Head, Paloma Kwiatkowski, Leven Rambin, Stanley Tucci, Robert Maillet and Zoe Aggeliki.

The sequel finds Percy Jackson, the son of Poseidon, continuing his epic journey to fulfill his destiny, as he teams with his demigod friends to retrieve the Golden Fleece, which has the power to save their home and training ground, Camp Half-Blood.

Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters hits theaters August 16, 2013.
