Will Gluck to Direct Agatha

Will Gluck (Easy A, Friends with Benefits), has signed on to direct a spec script called Agatha at Paramount Pictures, Deadline reports.

Written by Allison Schroeder (Mean Girls 2), Agatha fictionalizes Agatha Christie's infamous eleven-day disappearance in 1926, crafting an action adventure around the event.

Gluck should tackle Agatha after his next project, Sony's 2014 remake of the Broadway musical Annie which recently cast Quvenzhané Wallis in the title role.

Chris Bender, Cale Boyter, Mary Parent, JC Spink and Jake Weiner are attached to produce.
