February 26, 2013

First announced last September, J.J. Abrams and Alfonso Cuaron's "Believe" has cast Delroy Lindo, Sienna Guillory, Jamie Chung and newcomer Johnny Sequoyah, says a story at The Hollywood Reporter. They join the previously-announced Jake McLaughlin.

The series follows a girl, Bo (Sequoyah), in possession of a great gift/powers, which will come into their own in seven years - and the man, Tate (McLaughlin), who is sprung from prison to protect her from those trying to hunt her down.

Lindo will play Winter, an alleged priest who turns out to be far more than he claims. Chung will play an associate of his named Channing and Guillory will play a hitman named Moore.

Warner Bros. TV and Abrams' Bad Robot are producing with Abrams, Cuarón, Mark Friedman and Bryan Burk executive producing and Kathy Lingg co-executive producing.
