Ryan Engle to Draft Ben 10

The project first announced in 2011, Joel Silver is working to bring the Cartoon Network property Ben 10 to theaters. Today, The Hollywood Reporter brings word that Ryan Engle has come aboard to rewrite the screenplay (previously drafted by Albert Torres).

Created by Man of Action (Joe Casey, Joe Kelly, Duncan Rouleau, Steve Seagle), the series is about a boy, Ben Tennyson, who discovers a strange wrist watch that allows him to transforms into 10 different aliens with super powers.

Engle is best known for his work on the forthcoming video game adaptation Rampage.

Ben 10 will be executive produced by Alex Heineman and Sarah Meyer.
