CS Video: Nicholas Sparks and the Stars of Safe Haven

Hitting theaters on Valentine's Day, Lasse Hallström's Safe Haven brings to the screen Nicholas Sparks' 2010 novel with a cast headlined by Josh Duhamel, Julianne Hough and Cobie Smulders.

Hough stars as a woman on the run from a troubled and mysterious past. Chased by a Boston police officer, she take on the name Katie and tries to start a new life in the small North Carolina town of Southport. Although she's at first reluctant to make any ties whatsoever, she befriends a woman, Jo (Smulders), who helps her to realize that she needn't be alone to feel safe. Soon she begins to develop feeling for a local man, Alex, who himself is struggling to deal with the death of his wife and who is raising two children on his own. Together, Katie and Alex's old wounds begin to heal, but their respective pasts aren't far behind and threaten to tear apart the new hope that they've found in one another.
